Versa 2 brand new at Christmas 19
origionlly paired to an iPhone 7 and from the start gave me issues syncing sometimes and I’d have to manually sync in the ap.
then one day about 2 months ago it stopped syncing all together...
tried all the tricks, turned off Bluetooth, restated device and phone, nothing...removed/forgot device, phone could find the device without a problem but couldn’t pair...
completly reset the device to factory settings, phone can still find the device but cannot pair no matter what I do.
2 months later, have a brand new phone...android based this time, same problem, phones Bluetooth sees the device (screen says found it) but then cannot pair...
trued turning Bluetooth off and turning the phone on and off, uninstalling and reinstalling the app...
currently I have a 9 month old Versa 2 with a full battery stuck in the “to start download the Fitbit app” multi language screen...
and both an iPhone and an android phone that can see the **ahem**ed thing but can’t connect to it...
this was a very expensive gift from family members who are struggling with money to help me monitor a medical condition because I don’t have good health insurance and after less than a year it’s a paperweight?!
wtf fitbit?!

Hi @Gember you tell us it won't pair, but haven't mentioned any error messages.
Are you trying to pair your tracker through the phones Bluetooth menu? If so the error message, on andtoid, should be "Pair rejected by Versa. 2", Thy is because the user will not be able to pair the tracker to the phone through the I ones Bluetooth menu.
Let's check the Bluetooth menu on every device you have synced the Versa 2 with and make sure that the Versa 2 is not a trusted device.
If the Versa 2 is connected to the Bluetooth the Fitbit app will not be able to setup the tracker.
Let's follow the setup instructions and do the setup through the Fitbit app.
Once the Versa 2 has been setup, connected to your Fitbit account the Fitbit app will ask for permission to pair the Versa 2 to your phone.
In the future so not remove a non syncing tracker from your Fitbit account, or Fitbit app, doing so will simply add more problems.
If the tracker will not setup.
Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?
Also please look at the sync help

No just throu the fit but ap...
screen says searching
then says found it
then attempts to connect for a few mins
then next screen pops up with
make sure Versa is on and charged (done)
restart device by pres and hold (done)
Turn off mobile device blue tooth and turn it back on again (done)
with try again at the bottom
which then goes back to the found it screen which then goes back to the try again screen
ive also tried turning blue tooth off and on and restarting the phone, on the original iPhone “forgetting” the device (didn’t help) and eventually got to resetting the Versa2 to factory setting which also did NOTHING to help...
this is what’s happening on both phones...
neither phone have the Versa listed in their Bluetooth connected device list currently...
the Fitbit ap sees the device but cannot get it to respond/connect on either phone.

Let's pick one phone and turn the other phone off.
Removing the tracker from your Fitbit account added more problems.
Now let's try the fixes for a sync problem.
Why won't my Fitbit device sync?
How do I set up my Fitbit device?
