I've seen many posts asking for help to solve Versa 2 powering up issue, without real solution. It was my case too until I identified the problem: the 4 connection pads on the back of the device become weared off. See particularly the right one on my device picture below.
As a solution, you may try soldering some metal to insure the contact can be made again with your charger pins.
