Versa 2 not registering steps properly

I've had my fitbit versa 2 for about 4 months and no issues. But recently, about a week or so ago, I noticed it wasn't registering steps. At first I thought maybe it was delayed, but the more I paid attention I noticed it was missing lots of steps. For example, about 15 minutes ago I just counted 100 steps, but only 14 steps registered. I've tried switching arms, loosening it, tightening it, factory reset, etc but nothing seems to work. I'm not sure why its suddenly not working properly. Can someone please help me fix this problem? TIA!
