Woke up this morning and my step counter is showing over 16,000 steps and over 9 miles. I just woke up. I already restarted the device and checked that my timezone is correct. I just got this in the mail yesterday, frustrated that I'm already having issues with it. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hi @MBerman923, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa 2 won't reset the step counter to zero. I totally understand how frustrating this is for you and we appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.
I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, open the Settings app > About > Factory Reset or Clear User Data. Sync your watch before this in order to avoid losing current data. Finally, monitor your watch during the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.
