Versa 2 not responding to Alexa

Acts like it's listening but does nothing.  I've reset, reinstalled app, checked permissions, every trick i could find online.  Also looses connection frequently.  Had my watch a year with no issues but within the last 2 weeks it stopped working with alexa.  Any thoughts??

Thank you for the information provided and for trying to resolve the issue with your Fitbit Versa 2 before contacting us.

 

Please confirm that you've followed the troubleshooting steps in this article in the menu "What should I do if my voice assistant doesn’t work on my Fitbit smartwatch?".

 

Whether the above doesn't work, you can set up your watch as a replacement device:

 

  1. Tap the Today tab Fitbit logo, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.
