My phone Samsung S8 updated the operating system about a week ago, prior to that I had been having issues with intermittent text messages showing up as expired. Now I can click the open button after uninstalling all apps and full restarts and the message will open on MY PHONE only. When I got this in October I could see the message on my watch. Now, it ONLY opens the message on my phone. I changed no other settings and only resorted to full removal of the app and reloading when nothing would work. I am using Message+ which is an approved messaging app and is standard. Additionally, despite numerous restarts it is saying that synching service is not working and a phone restart is required.

You tape the message to open it on the tracker.
Taping "open" is suppose to open the message on the phone.

Tapping causes all of the options to show. It only ever says message. I never know who it is from or a preview. Conversely, I have WhatsApp running for a few days and everything runs perfectly about it. I have tried running it as the default messaging and as one the optional apps and it works exactly as the messaging app used to and should act.

Heard back from Fitbit official support. This is a KNOWN issue with Android phones. No idea when it will be fixed. No text messages just notifications. Total bummer. Also no return allowed or compensation because I'm past the 45 day return window. I'm stuck with a fancy watch until they figure it out.
