Versa 2 not tracking heart rate properly

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Versa is restarting all day long by itself. The heart rate isn’t working. My touch screen keeps freezing then the Fitbit restarts. I’ve never had issues like this before and it’s getting worse. I’ve done everything suggested for the heart rate but it didn’t help. Any help is appreciated.

@SunsetRunner, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa since it stopped tracking your heart rate and the the screen freezes. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

In order to avoid providing the same information, I'd like to know what troubleshooting steps you tried. In the meantime, try the steps listed in this help article. This article may contain steps that you already tried but you can skip them and proceed with the rest.

Finally, try changing the clock face to one developed by Fitbit, not a third party and see if the issues get fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

I tried turning off the heart rate then syncing, then turning it back on
then syncing. Did it several times. It never worked. I tried to
factory reset it but the Fitbit would freeze every time. The watch face is
a Fitbit not third party. I returned the Fitbit to the store I got it at
and received a new one. Hopefully I don’t have any issues with this one.
Thank you for your help.

@SunsetRunner, I'm sorry for the late response. However, I'm so glad to hear that the store you purchased your Versa 2 from was able to provide a replacement unit. Thank you for posting the update here.
