Versa 2 not tracking my heart rate accurately

Whenever my heart starts pumping at 168bpm, the heart rate on my fitbit halves, and it only recognises every other heart beat. So when I'm in peak, it shows me to be below zones. Has anyone else experienced this, and does anyone know how to fix it?
