I've noticed after the past week or so that my fitbit either doesn't track my sleep at all or only part tracks it and says I'm awake when I know I'm not

Fitbit products are junk! They constantly have issues I don’t think they can afford quality IT people because it has been this way for years!!!

Hi Megane4, I'm having the same or a similar issue. Sleep tracking used to be rather reliable, but since two nights my Versa 2 is only tracking part of my sleep. It typically starts the sleep log around 1:30 or 2:00 at night while I know for a fact that I've been asleep for hours by then.

I get the impression several members here are reporting sleep tracking inaccuracies lately. I hope this gets picked up by Fitbit; sleep tracking was a main reason for my to buy a Fitbit and I'm disappointed it isn't working as it should anymore.

I have been having this problem for two weeks. It has also not been tracking my steps or my heart rate (if anything at all)  properly. All this happened before the last update. The second Fitbit I have had an issue with, my first one was a charge 3.

For what it's worth: I just found out that I can edit the sleep log. If I change the hour of falling asleep to a more realistic and accurate hour, the sleep data of the missing period appear. Apparently the sleep data for this period were in fact recorded correctly (as far as I can tell) but the automatic start of the sleep log was far too late. I'd still prefer the watch to recognize my bedtime more accurately (as it did before) but at least this way I have an option to recover the 'missing' hours of sleep.
