Versa 2 refuses to recognize notification preferences

I just got a Versa 2 last week after my old Versa bit the dust.  So I understand how the app and settings work, all of it migrated over from my old device just like I wanted them.  However my new Versa 2 is behaving abnormally, in particular it is giving me notifications on EVERYTHING, even though I specifically do not want e-mail notifications.  I get a million e-mails a day and the thing never stops buzzing.  I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, done a restart of my phone, etc.  I have a Samsung Galaxy S10+ running Android 10.  I'm open to any suggestions.

Hi @sellinrain, welcome to the Community Forums!

I appreciate the details that were shared in your post and for trying some troubleshooting steps before posting over here, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device? to see that all the necessary requirements to receive notifications on your Fitbit are correctly configured and to try some troubleshooting steps. Also, lets make sure that power management is disabled for the Fitbit app. Follow the next steps to do so:

  1. Phone settings
  2. apps > Fitbit
  3. Power or battery

Let me know if further assistance is needed.
