Versa 2 return takes too long

Ordered the silver/grey Versa2 and when I received it the color of the device and the buckle on the band was purple. Talked with Fitbit received a return authorization and shipped it back for the correct color. That was almost 2 weeks ago and the shipping has been sitting in Chino CA for the last several days. Delivery date unknown AND pending. Had I known this was going to be such a pia I would have kept the wrong device. Now I’m thinking I’ll never see the replacement. 
At this point I’m just going to request a refund if they ever receive it because it probably takes months for their replacement to get to me.

Does Fitbit ever admit it’s a lost delivery and file a claim? This ridiculous every time I talk with someone the tracking info updates and then a day later goes back to pending, delivery date unknown - it’s supposedly sitting 2 hours outside the destination.

After many emails to customer service and filing a complaint, Fitbit sent me a new device.  I am still tracking my old device through FedEx.  Today,  the status was again changed to pending, no scheduled delivery date.  It was supposed to be delivered yesterday.  Of course,  the package has been scheduled for delivery multiple times.  I returned my Fitbit through FedEx with the shipping label Fitbit provided on January 5th.  So, it has been more  than two months and it still hasn't been delivered.Good luck.Sent from my T-Mobile 4G LTE Device

They did send me a refurbished one without receiving my old one. Only a
matter of time before this one breaks. My favorite clock won't even load.
They also sent it without a band, lol! And btw, my fitbit is still not
there. It was sent 1/13!!!!
