Versa 2 battery started draining a few weeks ago. Never have battery draining apps etc on. Turned display from by movement to press button to help, but it didn't. Last few days Versa 2 logged a pilates session whilst I was reading, clock face display showing the time constantly but didn't previously. Tried changing new clock face; didn't work. Tried quick restart; didn't work. Don't want to lose my data by doing a factory reset. Ideas please??

Hi there, @HockeySue. Thanks for stopping by in the Fitbit Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issues with your Versa 2 before reaching out.

I understand where your concern is coming from, but as our last resort, I'd do suggest performing a factory reset by following the steps below (please make sure that your Versa 2 is no longer paired to your phone's Bluetooth before performing this step):

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
    1. Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
    2. Hold the button again until you feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates you initiated the factory reset.

You can follow the steps to set up the device after that: How do I set up my Fitbit device?

Take into consideration that a factory reset deletes any stored data, which includes all data that hasn't synced to your Fitbit account and your applications, alarms, etc.
