Versa 2 screen brightness

PLEASE bring back the function to disabled the auto brightness on the versa 2 like the original had, it’s nowhere near as bright as my original one was, could this be done on an update?

Did you set the brightness setting to max in quick settings?  Seems very bright to me in sunlight outside. No issues with my Versa 2 here.

Same. I actually think it's brighter on normal than the V1 was. The deeper blacks make the color pop more so it's easier to make out the screen even at lower brightness settings.

I do agree that auto-adjust should be optional though. I'm not a power user but I enjoy having complete control over settings.

@Kev77 swipe down on your versa to open status bar. tap on the quick settings icon (the first one on the right), then tap on the sun icon until it says Max. This will enable max brightness on your versa.

I think the issue us that despite setting the Versa 2 to max, it still automatically adjusts  brightness.

So i think its Auto as a standard then Auto-Dim, Auto-Mid, Auto-Bright.

yeah, but Max is not nearly bright enough, especially when I am outside.

I assume the lack of brightness is a result of an update. Next update needs to go back to the way it was!
