Hello: My Versa 2 screen fell off and it appears some of the ribbons in the back tore. Is this fixable? I hate to create more waste.

Going by other posts that have reported this problem it is not repairable. However, if you are still within warranty then you should be eligible for a replacement. I suggest contacting customer support via contact.fitbit.com They can check your warranty status and advise on your replacement options.
