Versa 2 screen corrupted

Does anyone know about this issue? I hooked up my Versa 2 to charge overnight. When I picked it up in the morning, the image on the screen was all scrambled and distorted. It's unreadable. It hasn't gotten water in it or been banged up, so I don't see how it could be damaged. I tried restarting it, but it didn't make any difference. Help!

Hi there, @AD_Fit. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out.

To better assist you, please make sure you've restarted your Fitbit device as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?. If the restart doesn't work try to change your clock face. If this fixes the issue, you can change your clock face back to the original clock face.

Hope that helps.

Hi @MarreFitbit. Thanks for the reply. I tried to do the restart, but it still had the same problem. I'm not able to change the clock face, because the image is too distorted. It looks like there might be images on the screen, but I can't tell what anything is.

@AD_Fit Please note you can still change the clock face on your Versa 2 even when the screen is corrupted. This process can be done through the Fitbit app.

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks @MarreFitbit. I tried to change the clock face through the app, but it has lost the Bluetooth connection. Now I can't see the four-digit code on the Fitbit screen to re-sync it. ☹️

I'm having the same problem. Last night, they update to 32.72.1.23 and I have an useless smartwatch now. Did they help you sort this out? My versa 2 is out of warranty so I think I will just give up with fitbit devices. Been using it since flex and even with Google stepping up they still rubbish and the lifespan is a joke for the price we pay. I'm really feed up with this.

Mines doing it now too. I’ve restarted and changed clock faces in the app but I can’t see my screen! So annoying! Might be time to change to Garmin.
