Versa 2 screen freezing

I have noticed the past two nights while trying to complete my daily step goal my watch has frozen right before the goal. I reached 12,200 steps and then five minutes later I looked and my watch said 11,870 steps. Now the steps are frozen. I have restarted the watch and it will work again for a little while then do the same thing once I’ve gone over my step goal..

Hi @Christinexx, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

Regarding the frozen screen issue that your Versa 2 has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.
  • Set up your watch from scratch
  • Finally, monitor your Versa 2 for the next 24 hours and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.
