Versa 2 screen is acting odd

Versa 2 about 2.5 yr old.  Today screen dimmed for a few hours even after set to max brightness.  Then it went snowy like an old TV. I can still see a little and it is tracking all my info, the app is collecting the data as well, just can't read the display.  I've done a full charge and a restart without any change. Does this mean it's dying and I need a new one?

Not to be defeated, I tried everything again, and eventually got it to reinstall over bluetooth with my phone, so it appears to be ok. However, my preference is to use it connected to my laptop, which is what I did before, but now it does not want to be recognized, so guess I am stuck with only the phone connection and I'll make due with that. Thanks for your help.

I refuse to let technology get the best of me! Was able to final get the factory reset and reinstall done via my phone over Bluetooth during the overnight.

After a couple more tries this morning, was also able to get it reinstall and paired on my laptop.

So all is good, no lost data, and the only time that didn’t capture or synch was the 10 hr I fiddled with all the reinstalls.
