Display is so dark that I can hardly see the icons. Setting says it’s on max

HI @GG1955 - first check that the watch is not in Sleep mode as it dims the display and then restart it by holding the watch button for 10 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and wait for it to start.
Also try a clock face change but if it is still a problem the only thing left to do is a factory reset which may not succeed.
If you have other issues, like short battery life, the watch is probably faulty.
