Versa 2 screen issues and random restarts

I have purchased a Versa2 watch last February and it has been great to use so far but just recently it has been acting really weird. The screen would not respond to any touch or swipes. The left button still work though but I can’t do much with it so it makes the watch next to unusable at this point. The screen would not stay on too when I press the button, like it would turn off in a blink of a second. But this is a random issue - sometimes it works, sometimes no. The watch has also been restarting on its own several times a day. I have tried a soft and hard reset on the watch already to no avail. This has been very frustrating considering the watch is still new.

 

I might just be having bad luck on Fitbit products because I have owned a Charge3 before as well and I had to return it because it would not charge after just a few weeks of use.

 

Sorry for the long post but this just really frustrates me a lot. Hope someone would be able to help.

I'm sorry to hear about the swiping issues that your Versa 2 screen experienced. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via email. I'm glad to hear that a solution was provided and you are back on track with a replacement unit.

Thanks for the reply @JuanJoFitbit. I contacted Support at the same time I posted on this forum and Support has been awesome! They did send me a replacement unit and hopefully this one will last this time 🙂 This Versa 2 has been really helpful in motivating me to keep up with my health and fitness goals.
