I installed IQ Shield on my Versa 2 today. So I'll update this review over time. But, so far, so amazing. This is my first wet application screen protector and I can't believe I've shied away from them over the years. Installation was extremely easy, and the outcome was great. The curved edges also adhered perfectly. The clarity of the screen is excellent with no bubbles or other visible imperfections. Touch reaction is the same as it was before application of the IQ Shield.

Hey there! I just purchased a set of 3 screen protectors from eBay and they for around $5 (I’m in Australia) and they are flawless! You don’t notice they’re on there and it doesn’t effect the touch sensitivity at all. 100% worth the purchase. I would recommend grabbing some 🙂

Hi! I'm in Aus too - can you please pop the link here so I can buy these also? Just to confirm these fit your versa 2 and not the regular versa. Thanks!
Do you have a link for this? Thanks!

The first time that my screen protection came off, I scratched my versa 2. They are scratchable. Be careful

SunsetRunner - this product specifically says that it's not for the Versa 2. There's a picture to indicate this.

You've said that in another thread, it not true. I haven't found a good protector for my versa 2 and since I've gone without one, it definitely has several scratches on it.

I've tried them all and the best protection IMHO is tempered glass. Highest sensitivity and because it's glass, it doesn't scratch easily for minor scratches. I've tried the plastic film ones and never, ever got one on without bubbles. Plus, shortly after getting the best fit with the least bubbles, it scratched within days. I find even if you can get it installed without bubbles initially, it eventually starts to lift from the edges and I'm constantly chasing bubbles. I've also tried the ones with full side covers, but you have to remove them to charge the watch which is a PITA and the more you remove and replace them, the more likely they get bubbles. Some are intended to not touch the screen, but if they do, you end up with a blotch spot where it touches.
I ended up using tempered glass ones intended for the Versa and Versa lite and they unfortunately don't completely stick down at the very edges, but still cover 95% of the screen. I work on motorcycles, vehicles, woodworking, yard work, etc., and although I've chipped the edge of a tempered glass protector, it's easily removed and replaced with another. I've never scratched the glass protectors. I just changed my first glass protector this morning due to that chipped edge after having it on for more than six months. If I know I'm going to do some heavy duty work, I throw a clip-on cover over top, with the tempered glass protector still on, and remove the clip-on when I'm done the work. So far so good as my watch still looks like new.
So if you can put up with the tempered glass protector not sealing down completely at the very edges, I find it's the best way to go. Not sure in this day and age why they can't make a curved-edge tempered glass protector, but the Versa or Versa lite ones will still work for the most part. I also don't see what the great advantage of a curved screen is in the first place, as the visible area of the watch doesn't even come close to the edge. They should have stuck to the non-curved screens of the previous models.
I saw one tempered glass protector with plastic curved edges for the Apple watch, but unfortunately they don't make one for the Versa 2. I think that would be ideal as it would completely cover the glass portion, but could be left on for charging.

@Moto-MacGyver Maybe they feel the curved screen is more attractive and less clunky looking than say, the Blaze was. Fitbit doesn't sell or endorse screen savers, so I doubt their Engineers are concerned about how screen savers fit.
I have had a Fitbit since March 2016 and have been fine with no screen savers. I also stopped using them on phones after the Galaxy S2. No problem there either.

@MarkMM - Interesting that someone who "doesn't believe in protection" would be trolling a thread where people who are interested are asking questions. Nobody mentioned going to something like the Blaze, we're comparing Versa to Versa 2 which are aesthetically very similar with one not having the curved glass but essentially looking the same with the same useable screen size. Hopefully you aren't applying the "no protection required" to other areas of your life.
@Everyone else . . . I recently found this option and have it on order. Amazon.com: Redluckstar for Fitbit Versa 2 Screen Protector, 3D Tempered Glass Curved Edge Full Cove...
I'll post back here with my experience and thoughts. I'm a bit reluctant to use something that utilizes a bonding agent, but reviewers have said it's not difficult to remove if the protector is damaged or you want to remove it for other reasons. Looks like it will not affect charging and will allow full protection covers to be used over top when working in hazardous environments.

The curved glass protector I mentioned above arrived today.
The photo below is just with the protective cover placed over the watch (pre-sticker removed) to show that it covers the entire curved glass well and does indeed have curved edges as advertised.
It's a well composed kit and I like that the UV light is USB powered, however, the cord is quite short. I used a portable phone backup battery and a longer cable (it's just standard USB on one end and Micro USB on the other).
The two photos immediately to the left show both sides of the instruction booklet. It is well documented.
I recommend removing the band as the watch face has to sit perfectly level due to the way the installation works.
It comes with two protectors and duplicates of all the other items you need with the exception of the UV light and cord.
The process is: Mask over the button with supplied masking material (I also covered the back sensors just in case) and clean the watch glass carefully ensuring no dust. Following the instructions, dispense an entire tube of adhesive in a puddle in the middle of the watch glass. Remove the mask from the protector, line it up directly over the watch glass and carefully lower it then let it go so gravity will spread the adhesive to the edges and corners. Only takes a few seconds. Then hold the lit UV light over it for 30 seconds. Wipe away excess with the alcohol wipe. It hardens, but its much like stiff silicon so it's still a bit flexible.
My masking over the button didn't stay down and a little adhesive got on the top of the button, so I quickly took a needle and easily picked it off.
Unfortunately, my first try had a very small bubble on the bottom edge, but it's not in the viewing area. I very carefully tried to get rid of it, but ended up splitting it into two smaller bubbles. It's easy to mess everything up at that point, so I just left it. The bubbles don't really bother me and it isn't worth redoing and wasting a spare cover. You can barely see the bubbles in the very bottom edge of this photo. If this protector get's damaged, hopefully my next try at it will be better.
Here is an edge shot so you can see that the cover does indeed completely cover the glass. (The shiny bits are just light reflection.)
Overall, I'm very pleased so far with this product and the process to install it. It's super sensitive to the point that I can't even tell it's on the watch or any different from the bare watch glass sensitivity. So far, a good product.
Time will tell (no pun intended) how well it lasts, but I'll report back here if there are any issues. One thing I'm curious about is it's ability to stay intact and/or clear after being in water because I swim with it and wear it in the hot tub. The link to this product is in the post above. Not sure how long that link will continue to work, but look for something like it. It's a no-name product, so there is nothing to identify a manufacturer or product name. There is a number below the bar code on the back: X002F8XCTR

yeah but I accidently put deep cuts on my fitbit face by not taking my watch off when I was working on the undercarriage of my car while lying on the concrete. It now has deep cuts that I cannot get rid off.
