I have owned my Versa 2 for more than 2 years and it has worked fine. Just 2 days ago, the screen display turned very dim. I read the community help and swiped down to Quick Settings. I checked that sleep mode was not on and then adjusted brightness to max. Nothing helped. Do I need to go buy a new device?

It's great that your Versa 2 has been a reliable companion for over two years! I'm sorry to hear about the dim screen.
It sounds like you've already taken some great steps to troubleshoot the issue. Sometimes, unexpected things happen with electronics. To get to the bottom of this, I recommend changing the clock face of your Versa 2.
