Versa 2 screen won't respond

I just took my fitbit off of the charger, it provided the normal screen and then it just disappeared.  I went to push the button on the side and it wasn't there.  It looks like it somehow was sucked into the device.

Hello @MyCoachName and welcome to the Community.  The Versa 3 doesn't have a physical button.  There is an indentation along the left side of the case.  Fitbit calls this a haptic button.  The first step to troubleshoot your Versa 3 is to restart it.  Press and hold in that indentation for 10 seconds until the Fitbit logo appears.

Can you please check something?  Does your mobile app say that your Versa 3 is charged and connected?  Is it collecting data?

It was at the time.  The screen was blank.  When I pushed the indentation on the left side of the device, it would click.  Now it seems to be always "in" as there is no click and doesn't move.  I've seen other posts suggesting that something may have fallen off but nothing fell off.  It showed that my Versa 3 was charged to 92%.  When I initially placed the charger to the device, it was under 25%.  The data was displayed on my phone.  When I did the chat help session and sent the pictures of the watch they came immediately back to replace the device. @MyCoachName   This is a no harm, no foul response.  You didn't mention anything about the green LEDs in you original post.  My thoughts would have gone in a completely different direction knowing that.  I'm happy that you got the help you needed from Support.  😉
