Versa 2 screen won't turn on

It seems that my Fitbit Versa 2 will connect to my phone and to the Bluetooth. But the actual display is not working. I haven't gotten it wet or damaged it. I've tried to restart it by holding the side button. It vibrates but shows nothing. I have tried to reset the clock face but it says it isn't connected. I've tried to set up the tracker, it vibrates, the app gives me the option to put in the 4 digit code, but nothing displays on the screen of my Fitbit. I have had this less than a year. Any suggestions?

Hi @KD78, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Versa 2 is not turning on. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset, which has been helpful for this type of issues. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.
  • Set up your watch from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed

Keep me posted on the outcome.
