Have tried to reset with no indication of success. Fully charged and still syncs.

Hi @RichardLp, welcome to our Fitbit Community. I'm sorry to hear that the screen of your Versa 2 is blank and and it won't turn on. I totally understand how you feel about this and I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, try setting up your watch from scratch and see if the issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Hi Richard

I have the same problem with my versa 2 which is less than a year old! I tried all the advice I have found on here but no luck so far! The watch still is still syncing, charges but the screen is still black! 😞I am really disappointed, I was not expecting for this to happen with a versa that's less than a year old! Let me know if you manage to make it work again, please! Thank you!
