Have versa 2 Fitbit, was previously used on a different mobile device and account, this device (versa 2) has since been disconnected from this previous device and account, I’m now trying to set it up for use again, on a different account and phone than previously, during set-up however, after the Fitbit app says it’s connected the the versa 2, it requests a 4-digit code, however in the Fitbit it merely shows the time and steps, and any effort to do anything else resorts us to a keypad on the versa 2 display. How do I avoid this block and use my Fitbit, any help appreciated

Hi @Sean102030 these are the community forums and most of us replying are members, such as yourself. When someone doesn't have a response, it might be due to no one being here or not knowing what to tell you. It's July 4th in the USA and many of us are celebrating. I'll be leaving myself after posting this to join family.
Anyway, you do a factory rest? It erases the old data, so you can set up. click to learn how. Then start at the beginning to set up - click for directions. Be sure you've got the latest app for your mobile device, too. You try restarting your device? click to learn how.
I won't be back for a few hours, but let us know how things go for you.

Thank you for your response, the first step to factory resetting the versa 2 is to swipe from left to right to get to settings, unfortunately whenever I touch the watches screen the keypad comes back up again and I’m unable to get to settings to continue the factory reset.

The Fitbit app requests a 4 -digit number that it says should be displayed on the screen of the watch however the screen on the versa 2 also requests a 4-digit number and I cannot connect it to my phone, any attempt to factory reset doesn’t work because I am unable to do anything with the watch other than see the time without this code

Rejoice! Rejoice! The Fitbit has worked!! Thank you for your advice! Though at first I was challenged immensely eventually with a little bit perseverance and a little bit of luck I was able to access the settings to factory reset! Dreams really do come true!!!
