My Versa 2 had worked fine for 2 years, but yesterday it started having connection issues. And today it just couldn't sync at all.
I tried all of the usual fixes and everything I found in answers on here. I rebooted the watch and my phone. I un-installed and reinstalled the app. I removed and re-added the Versa in the app. I unpaired every Bluetooth device from my phone. I verified that no other device nearby had the fitbit app installed. I switched off Bluetooth on my phone, rebooted it, and switched it back on.
Nothing worked so I factory reset my Versa 2 and tried everything again. Now when I try to add my Versa 2 it fails immediately after I enter the code. After I enter the code it switches to a screen that says "connecting your Versa 2 to the fitbit app" but then after the a second or two it pops up a message that says "something went wrong" and the page changes to "searching for your Versa 2."
I am using a Samsung Galaxy a52S 5G.
@YevgeniyaT Hi. It sounds like you're trying to connect through the phones bluetooth? That will never work with Fitbits. You have to sync through the Fitbit app.
Best AnswerНі. The last synchronization of my Versa 3 took place on 21.01.2025. After that, when I tried to synchronize the device, my phone couldn’t detect it. The watch didn’t appear as connected in the Bluetooth settings. I reinstalled the app, restarted my phone, and followed all the steps recommended on the forum, but nothing helped. So, I reset the watch to factory settings, and now it doesn’t connect at all. Now, when I try to add my Versa 3, it fails immediately after I enter the code, and a message pops up saying "Something went wrong."
