Versa 2 setup issues

I have followed set up instructions and am trying to get Bluetooth of phone to find my versa 2 and it isn't finding it. I have the Versa 2 charging and on (it just keeps saying to start download the app Which I have done and I'm in) have switched Bluetooth off then on again have also shut down app and restarted but nothing is making a difference. Help!
