Versa 2 showing average pace on exercises

After I use the exercise app I get average pace. Can I change it to distance. When I use  smartrak it shows distance but no information.

What do you see when you press settings?

so I went to the gym and did treadmill and now get this screen ( the data I want to see) then I walked home and got the avg data again. Is it something I push or is it time based?

Mine doesn't look like this, what options do you see when tapping the settings?

Under exercise settings I unclicked average pace. But when you click it the
heading of the menu becomes voice cues so not sure if that is it.
