Versa 2 showing incorrect GPS

Today I went for a run using connected GPS on my Versa 2. This is a route I've done many times before. After finishing my run my Versa 2 said I had ran 4.9 km although I know this route is around 7k. I felt so frustrated during the run because I knew I was running farther and faster than the watch was showing. I know this route, it is definitely not 4.9k.  Anyone else experiencing this?
