Hi, @Debbena, unfortunately, syncing with the app is the only way to set the time on the tracker. If you're having trouble syncing, check out these steps.

Hi there, @Debbena. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post.
As @MakMak has mentioned, keep in mind that your Versa 2 may show an incorrect time if it hasn't synced or has been unpaired from your Fitbit account. Your Fitbit grabs the time of the device you're syncing with. To make sure your watch has recently synced, go to your Fitbit account, tap the Today tab > your profile picture > your device image.
As for the syncing difficulties, please follow the steps below:
*On your phone, tap Settings > Bluetooth > the information icon next to the name of your Fitbit device > Forget This Device.
*Open the Fitbit app and set up the connection again. You should receive a message asking you to allow your Fitbit device to pair with your phone. Tap Pair to approve the request.
Sync your Versa 2 automatically when you open the Fitbit app or manually by tapping your profile picture > your device tile > Sync Now.
I've moved your post to the Other Versa Smartwatches board for organization purposes.
Hope this helps.
