Versa 2 side button not responding

Hello, the side button of my versa 2 is not responding. It is not stuck.  It can be pushed but nothing happens. When I press and hold it will not respond to turn off/restart. Not sure why it has stopped responding. Any ideas?

Hi @Starlight82 ! Nice to see you around. Thank you for your efforts and your report. 

Please make sure, that around the button there is nothing obstructing it, eg. dirt. 

If you notice anything, try to clean it up with a cotton swab.
