My Versa 2 doesn’t reset the steps each night properly, it tracks the steps just fine but I wake up in the morning with some steps already there before I’ve even taken a step. The time on it is correct and everything else is correct, is there any way to reset the steps myself?

Let’s try restarting your Versa 2 to see if that helps. You won’t lose any of your data doing a restart. Just press down and hold the button on the side of your Versa 2 until the Fitbit Logo appears then release the button. You will feel the Versa 2 vibrate when it’s done restarting.
‘There isn’t a way to ‘reset” your steps as you asked. But, you can edit the steps that you have that you wish to change if the few extra steps bother you. Look here to see how it’s done: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1306.htm It will show you how to log a non-step-based activity such as driving to override the steps.
