The ring stopped tracking my data although my steps are being counted. How do I get the ring to start working again?

Hi there @crancobru, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for sharing the details about the issue with your Versa 2.

Is your Versa 2 not tracking your data on the watch itself or not syncing the data to the Fitbit app?

While I wait for your response, please try restarting your Versa 2. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?. Also, please see Why won't my Fitbit device sync?

Looking forward to your response.

Thanks for replying so quickly. My Versa 2 is tracking and the app is
syncing but the ring that surrounds my steps, stairs, etc. is no longer
working as it was. It stopped working after I took it off to recharge it
yesterday. The colorful notification when I hit my goal didn’t work
yesterday either. What can I do to fix this? Thanks.

@crancobru You're very welcome! Thanks for the additional details.

To better assist you with this matter, would you mind sending me a photo showing the settings you cannot read? To do so, please:

  • When you're in the reply page, click on the Insert Photos icon (the little camera).
  • Then, click on the Choose File in the middle of the grey window that will pop up.
  • Search for the photo on your computer or phone and click on Open.
  • Once the image shows up in the grey windows, select the size and the position and click on Done.

In the meantime, please check if the tile you're looking for is added in the Fitbit app. Follow the steps below to do so:

  1. On the Today tab, tap Edit.
  2. To add a stat tile, swipe down and find the stat you want to add > tap Add. To hide a stat tile, tap the X icon on the stat you want to remove.
  3. Tap Done.

To rearrange stat tiles:

  1. On the Today tab, tap and hold on the stat tile you want to move, and drag it to a new position.
  2. Tap Done.

Also, to add stats to Today tab in the Fitbit app:

  1. Tap the Discover tab > Health and Fitness Stats.
  2. Tap the stat you want to add, and tap Add to Today.

Keep me posted.

Hi, Thanks again for your help. Here is a picture of what I’m talking about.  The same thing happens with stairs. Chris

@crancobru Thanks for the photos attached.

Did you recent change the clock face on your Versa 2? If you did, please try switching to a different one to see how your stats are being shown. For more information, see How do I change the clock face on my Fitbit device?

I'd also recommend swiping up from the clock face to see your stats in Fitbit Today (also check how the stats are being shown there).

I'll be around, keep me in the loop.
