Versa 2 stopped tracking my sleep data

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Versa 2 stopped recording sleep data on January 18. I’m not a premium member, but it seems other data is missing as well (health metrics). Things I’ve tried: cleaning the sensors on the back of the watch, restarting, changing settings in the app, switching to Google for my account. Do you have suggestions, or is my device now only a watch that tracks steps?

Thank you

Welcome to the forums @SunsetRunner.

Thank you for sharing the details regarding this inconvenience with Versa 2. Thank you for trying to fix it on your own. Sorry to know the difficulty.

Before considering other options, please keep in mind that there are some factors that may prevent your tracker from recording your sleep. Please make sure of the following:

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device as described in this help article.
  • If you slept for less than 1 hour for sleep patterns or less than 3 hours for sleep stages.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.

If you haven't done so already, please try to complete a restart procedure following the steps: Press and hold the button for 10 seconds until you see the Fitbit logo on the screen, and then release the button.

In addition, please wear your device on your non-dominant hand and monitor it for the next few days.
