My Versa 2 is fully charged but as soon as I remove it from the charger it goes dead. It won’t restart by pressing and holding the side button and there are no updates to run.

Same happened with mine… worked just fine before I charged it today… now it won’t connect to the phone, eventhough the phone says it is connected🤨

Me too! Apparently, it’s just out of warranty so it’s dead. It’s only two years old!

I believe it has to do something with the new firmware update. My suddenly stopped working yesterday afternoon. Only noticed when i realized it was off halfway through my day and wouldn’t turn back on and ever since then its connected but won’t sync or receive notifications and keeps saying firmware update yet it keeps failing so now going another day without a working watch

Mine stopped as well! Suddenly, and after charging it won't start again. And it got hot when charged. Black screen. Is there any support for this issue? Anyone know?

This happened to mine also! If anyone has any suggestions? Reckon after the warranty is over the watch stops working? As I’ve read that they only really last two years.

Maybe Fitbits method to sell more. Make the items unuseable. That is not sustainable.

Happened to me yesterday afternoon. It is dead. But in charger then pressed left button and held it there….no change. Press all 3 buttons and held them….after a short bit it buzzed….I released the buttons….nothing but a black screen.

Just an update, I contacted Fitbit support today who gave a few more trouble shooting suggestions. Nothing worked so they advised I’m still within the warranty (had it 19 months) so they’re sending me a new one free of charge.

I noticed this as well!
This morning, my heart rate was stuck at 136 fat burn zone. Went into settings and shut down my Versa 2. This seemed to get it to start working again, until I WASHED MY HANDS. 😪 🙄
I've worn my Versa 2 in the shower and pool for 2 years. Never had a problem until this morning.

Funny coincidence..i just came from the pool today and my versa 2 just died as well..contacted customer support gave me some advice how to correct problem, but from reading the other remarks it seems after 2 years it looks like my phone "Bit the big one" RIP...ugh!!

It just sucks, cause I'm broke as hell and DEFINITELY can't afford another device.
Obviously, with the heart rate monitor not working, every other component isn't as well.
It's infuriating to say the least.
