Versa 2 stuck on Fitbit Logo

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I bought my Versa 2 about 6 months ago and it is now stuck on the Fitbit logo screen. I have tried charging it and restarting by holding the button on the left. It will blink and then return back to the Fitbit logo screen. Are there any other recommendations for fixing this? If not, who can I contact about getting this replaced under warranty?

Hi there @AbeSchwab, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out.

In addition to the steps you tried, please do the following:

  • Remove your Versa 2 from your Fitbit account and your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Setup your Versa 2 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.

If you can't get started with your Versa 2, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article: Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

Let  me know how it goes.

Good evening,

I tried the steps you outlined above and unfortunately this is not working either. Currently my Fitbit is disconnected from my phone and I am unable to set up as the Versa from there as it continues to stay on the Fitbit logo screen.

I have also taken a look at the requirements link you provided and still no luck. Do you have any additional suggestions?

Thank you for your help!

@AbeSchwab I appreciate you had followed the tips and recommendations provided above. Since this sounds a bit more serious, I've created a support case on your behalf - you should receive an email from Customer Support at the email you used to register with the Community forums. Note that we may take a bit long to get back to you since due to recent events affecting our operations, support options are limited and wait times are longer than usual.

We hope your issue is solved soon.

Good morning,

I received an automated email indicating I would be contacted for further support and I have not received this email at this time. I understand there may be a delay but wanted to check in on the status. Please let me know if there is anything else I need to do with troubleshooting.

Thank you!

My fitbit is doing the exact same thing; fully charged and the screen went black and is stuck on the fitbit logo. I have tried all steps provided to no avail. This watch is only a year old. What can be done to resolve this issue?

Mine has been the same since 7am this morning. I have contacted via Facebook and have been told they are working on it and to keep my app updated in the mean time 🤷🏼‍:female_sign:

Mines being doing similar but the logo doesn't stay, it briefly flashes every 30 seconds or so. Been like it since the update..  I've uninstalled and reinstalled the app to the correct version but its not even being picked up on the Bluetooth. Driving me mad! Was fine all day then just stopped working 🤷‍:female_sign:
