Versa 2 stuck on Fitbit Logo

My Versa 2 is now stuck on the logo screen. Been on charger overnight.

 

Tried pressing and holding the button until screen goes blank and then continue to hold button.

 

Screen never comes back on. Put it back on charger and it starts booting again after 10 minutes.

 

Boots to the logo screen and then just stops there.

 

HELP!

Hi there, @city_kid. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. 

 

In addition to the steps you've done so far, please see Why isn't my Fitbit device's battery charging? 

 

As for the Fitbit Logo, while you have your Versa 2 connected to the charger, please try the steps below:

 

  • Remove your Versa 2 from your Fitbit account and unpair it from your phone's Bluetooth.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 2 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.

 

If you can't get started with your Versa 2, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

I feel that updating firmware to Fitbit OS v4.2.2 has caused this problem, like many many people here: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Other-Versa-Smartwatches/Fitbit-OS-4-2-2-Firmware-Release-Versa-Vers...

 

Has Fitbit actually tested Fitbity OS v4.2.2 or have they just released it to the public?!

The exact same thing happened to mine. The FitBit logo wouldn’t go off despite being fully charged. I put it in my drawer and let the watch go dead, starting charging up again…problem solved. Hope it works for you.
