Versa 2 stuck on Fitbit Logo

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

My Versa was working yesterday morning then I took it off because it stopped working. I charged it overnight and tried to reset it, but now it’s just flashing the logo and won’t do anything else. Any ideas?

Me too

Me too. It's just stuck booting with the logo appearing and disappearing. I've tried charging it, holding down the button to reset etc, unpairing it. Nothing has worked.

Same here. Guess this is my sign to switch to Apple Watch.

Hi there, @Mkokosko @MytrackerMe @dowtippett. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Fitbit devices before reaching out.

Please note the issue you're having comes from performing a factory reset without first unpairing your Fitbit device from your Fitbit account and phone's Bluetooth settings. With that being said, I suggest following the steps below in the order listed:

  • Unpair your Fitbit device from your phone's Bluetooth and also make sure it's no longer connect to your Fitbit app.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Fitbit device again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Fitbit device.

If you can't get started with your Fitbit device, usually a missing requirement is the cause. Carefully review the requirements provided in the help article Why can't I set up my Fitbit device?

These steps did not work for me.

I didn’t expect them to fix it, as the problem started without me trying a factory reboot first. The problem just started randomly out of the blue.

I will contact support.

My Versa 2 has been working without an issue.  Use daily, and never had a problem.  Yesterday after the gym I noticed my activity hadn't been synchronized since 11/25.  I tried clearing cache, and clearing app storage as well as force closing app.  Still nothing.  Then when I tried rebooting phone it turned off, but when it turned back on the Fitbit logo came on, and never advanced from there.  I tried them removing watch from app and repairing but the watch only displays logo, and app can't connect.  Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm currently writing this from the gym without my tracker.  Quite frustrating.

I have the same issue with my wife's Versa 2. It was working fine, ran out of battery, and then just wouldn't charge. Attempting to restart the device just shows the Fitbit logo for a few seconds, then it cuts off and there is a brief white line of pixels across the screen.

This seems to happen to every Fitbit I've ever had - it just suddenly stops working one day and there's no way to fix it.

Same with mine too. Tried all of the suggestions I found online and nothing is working.

Tried all of that and it's still stuck on the logo screen.

Thank you, but none of this helped. This is the third time in 2.5 years that I have had issues with my Fitbit. The other two times, thankfully, it was covered under my Asurion plan & they were able to fix it. This seems to be unfixable. Very disappointing and based on the responses here, not an isolated issue whatsoever!

@MarreFitbit Any feedback here?  The watch has been frozen and unable to be used for a week.  If this doesn't get a reply instead of upgrading I will be switching brands.  I posted above with no reply.

Nope not an isolated incident. I’ve had multiple and they always crap out around 15 months (after the included warranty window) with some sort of update. I won’t update my current Fitbit, but when it dies I’m moving to an Apple Watch. My husband and I got watched the same Christmas 4 years ago. He got Apple and I got a Fitbit. He’s had the same watch. I’ve had 4. Luckily I bought the extended warranty, so I’ve only paid full price for 1 additional. I will not be buying another
