Versa 2 stuck on Fitbit Logo

My Versa 2 is not working. The Fitbit logo is stuck on the screen. I looked up the troubleshooting instructions to resolve this issue also I looked up troubleshooting techniques on this forum, but nothing is helping me with my issue. What can the cause be and how do I fix it? Please assist. Thanks!

Hi @Greg517 - while it could be terminal have you tried the following process?

 

  • Remove your Versa 2 from your Fitbit account and from your phone's Bluetooth settings.
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth on the phone and any other nearby phones and Fitbit devices
  • Shut off your phone for a few minutes.
  • Turn on the phone and the Bluetooth.
  • In the Fitbit App, click profile photo and "+ Set up a Device" like in the initial setup
  • If this doesn't work, restart the watch by pressing the button 12 seconds till it vibrates and the logo appears and after a minute try again.

Hi there, @Greg517. Thanks for stopping by in the Community Forums and trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa 2 before reaching out. 

 

Please note the issue you're having comes from performing a factory reset without first unpairing your Fitbit device from your Fitbit account and phone's Bluetooth settings. With that being said and as @Guy_ has suggested, please try the following the steps below in the order listed:

 

  • Unpair your Versa 2 from your phone's Bluetooth and also make sure it's no longer connect to your Fitbit app. 
  • Force quit the Fitbit app.
  • Turn off the Bluetooth.
  • Shut off your phone and turn it on after 1-2 minutes.
  • Turn on the Bluetooth.
  • Set up your Versa 2 again.
  • If there is no connection, restart your Versa 2.

I cannot sync my fitbit.  I have restarted both my phone, computer and fitbit 2 times each.  I have removed the device and repaired it 2 times.  The website also will not update.  is there something wrong with fitbit?

Hi @mkot - try again there has been a recent issue. Remove the computer from the equation and limit syncing from the phone, logout of the Fitbit App first before trying again.
