Versa 2 touchscreen and button not working properly

I cannot use the touchscreen at all. Only the incoming call notification and alarm work sometimes but cannot respond or close the alarm. Also, the button barely works so it's almost useless now that I can't even see the time, only black screen. (always on mode is off)
 
I have switched to watchface made by fitbit and restarted the device more than 3 times (it also restarts itself from time to time). Factory reset is not possible on phone. I'm on the latest version of both phone and fitbit versa 2.
 
It seems like many people face this issue too. This has been a few weeks already. Please fix this Fitbit.

My screen just says source output and add devices in settinus cannot access anything else but quick view. Pls advise

@Jhoeksema, I'm sorry for the late response. However, regarding the screen issues that your Versa 2 was experiencing, I was able to get in touch with our Support team and was told that they assisted you via chat and provided some instructions.

 

I would like to know if the issue persists or if it got resolved after following their workaround.
