Versa 2 touchscreen has stopped working

At first my screen started not responding to touch and now the button on the left only respond to turn the screen off but then won’t turn it back on. I’ve tried resetting it and that still doesn’t work. The green light on the back flashes for 3 seconds every now and then. I have only had this for a couple of months so would really appreciate any help. I also can’t do a factory reset as can’t use the screen.

Hi @Tayaprow, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, let me welcome you to our Fitbit Community.

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa 2 since the touchscreen won't work. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

Please try another way to perform a factory reset. follow the steps below to do so:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, monitor your watch and see if the touchscreen issue gets fixed.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Hey
I managed to get my fit bit working long enough for me to factory reset it however I am still having trouble. It responds more often than not to the raise and wake as such but when the screen turns on touch screen still doesn’t work.
Any other advice?

Kind regards
Téa

This did make my touchscreen active again.  This has been happening a lot lately though, much more since the recent update.
