Versa 2 touchscreen not responding

Purchased a versa 2 mid-november and yesterday the touchscreen started to not respond once and a while.  I restarted the device and it seemed to work but the problem happened again after an hour or so.   It continued to get worse and after a number of resets and a factory reset, the touchscreen no longer responds at all.
