Versa 2 under counting steps

I am losing between 20 to 60 steps sometimes.  Never had this problem with my Charge 2.  This product has some issues.  The only reason I went with Fitbit instead of a Samsung Gear since I'm an Android user is the walking community I am a part of is Fitbit and the supposed longer battery life.  I have counted off my steps and also used my phone to compare with what's shown on my watch, less steps on the Fitbit in comparison.  Then it take awhile for the steps to show up in the watch and a long sync time for the app.  Hasn't done so in a while, but screen would freeze up.
