If you want Fitbit Pay and Alexa support, I would go for the upgrade.

Alexa will work only on some countrys. In Estonia it wont work. Also versa 2 has no build in gps.

Only thing what to understand for upgrade is better display and one extra battery life day. all other things seems to be same if you allready have nfc support on versa special edition.

I was hoping that versa 2 will bring more new features 🙂

Right now i will not upgrade, but if fitbit give it to me half price..then i take it.

I wait some comments that is gps connection build better than versa or not. right now connecting versa with phone for gps tracking is make me gray from head 😞

I'm torn about upgrading. I think the OLED screen and the faster processor will make using the watch more enjoyable, but I've had a good experience with the Versa 1 and don't want to tempt fate. I swim at least 3 days a week and I've had no problems for the last year. I like the fact the fitbit pay is included in the standard version and the hardware design has been tweaked to make it more comfortable to wear. I'll lurk on this board and see what issues are reported and then buy myself one for Christmas if it seems legit. 🙂

Did you buy the extended warranty for your Versa? I’m debating whether I should purchase it when buying the Versa 2.

Not until they allow multiple devices on the same app.

I would have to throw out all my Versa data and start fresh.

The app keeps data, when you switch devices.  I'm not sure what you mean by 'throw out all my Versa data'.

I have several Fitbit products and switch between them often, depending on what I am doing and what I want to wear.  It was easier when they allowed multiple devices, but it still works with the replace feature.

In order to have two, unique fitbit Versa products, you need two fitbit
accounts.
