I think I might upgrade to a Versa 2. I currently have a Versa Special Edition, but was wondering if it's worth it to get the Special Edition again. Other than Fitbit Premium, are there any features which might make the Special Edition worth the buy?

@Jenski38 No Versa model has built in GPS. All Versa models are connected GPS. @writergal28 These are the 2 differences I see -- the Special Edition comes with an additional band that is not available separately in the Fitbit Store and the Special Edition comes with a free 3 month trial of Fitbit Premium. I hope this answers your questions.

Only other thing you can do is look at the specs under the store tab
I didn't go through all the Specs. The band is different. But I'm sure there are other dirrerences

I believe the special addition allows you to track exercise with built in gps vs needing your phone for the gps connection. If you find out more please post as I am looking for the differences as well

It's true that when you use the "Compare Tracker" option in the Store, Versa 2 is the only choice that appears. The SE difference was important with the Versa and the Charge 3 models. The SE models have the NFC chip; the regular models do not. All Versa 2 have the NFC chip for Fitbit Pay.
I hope this clears up any confusion.

Best AnswerThanks @LZeeW. I pre-orderd the v2 then saw the v2se advertised and am curious to the feature diff. I asked the same of the vl and found out no step count so did not get. Can't seem to find a feature compare of v2 and v2se which is the subject of the original post I responded to.
Best Answer@Mikey99 There is no feature difference between the Versa 2 and Versa 2 Special Edition.
The only two differences are:

No, this didn't clear up any confusion, you actually made it more confusing. Why mention the Charge 3 and nfc chip if all versa models have it? I don't understand the logic but whatevs.
No you can't, the special edition is not on that list.
Best AnswerThere are many replacement bands that are available , that are as good or possibly better than the official Versa bands.
Best AnswerFitbit is very clever in their Marketing, they have caused a lot of confusion! It's clear that the difference is the Strap and a 3 months trial for an App. between the 2 and 2se. Straps are available from other manufacturers of which you can have a large choice. I cannot see why a fabric strap is so great. I am sure it will soil very quickly! From what I have read the works are all the same. Please tell me if I have missed something?
The device is absolutely identical.
You get the "exclusive" strap and the free three month trial of Premium. Free Premium would be nice to have. Having dug through it I absolutely don't think it's worth paying for (well definitely not at the price they ask per month).
So honestly, it's just a value decision for you on if you want a longer trial to assess Premium properly (essentially or course you're paying partially for the trial in the extra SE price), and the extra strap. That is nice, but not water or dirt resistant...
Probably doing again I'd buy the regular Versa 2.
