Versa 2 white screen issue

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi, I put my versa 2 on charge before going to bed last night and this morning the screen is completely white with an intermittent flickering within the white.

I have tried changing the clock face. I have tried to restart but, even when holding the button in for any length of time, no fitbit logo appears. The screen is either off or the white flicker.

I won my watch in a competition earlier in the year and I'm really hoping you can help me.

Hi @EmmaApples, welcome to our Fitbit Community. Regarding the white screen issue that your Versa 2 has experienced, I appreciate the time spent trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

I'd like you to try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds.
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds).
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset.

After this, try setting up your watch from scratch and see if the screen works properly.

Keep me posted on the outcome.

Unfortunately I can't actually see the logo appear. I have tried to do the factory reset but, as the only thing I can see is white flickering, I can't seem to get it to work.

Also the battery seems to have drained very quickly today while this has happened.

I usually get 3 to 4 days out of a charge, I took it off charge at 6:30 this morning and was greeted with the white flickery screen and by 9am I was receiving emails that the battery was low

I managed to somehow get a factory reset going. I ran the battery completely down then recharged the watch. All of a sudden it decided it was reset and I could set it back up again.

Will update if it happens again
