I am no longer getting notifications on my tracker, ie., Text messages, phone calls, how many steps I have left to go.

Hi @Peggygt - try pulling down from the top edge of the watch once and then again and click on the 2 white bars to get to Quick Settings and make sure that neither Sleep nor do not disturb have been enabled.
Also check your watch is syncing with the app and if not start by restarting both watch and phone.
