I got my old Versa 2 out of storage and have been charging it since yesterday.
It's still completely dead.
Any suggestions appreciated!

Hi, @bobriff! Unfortunately, lithium ion batteries do degrade over time, especially if it's not kept charged. Unfortunately, it might just be dead. You can try switching it to a different outlet, cleaning the charging contacts, and all that, but it may just be dead.
