Versa 2 won't charge

I have changed USB charging points to points I know work.  I have used a direct USB to outlet connection,and waited 30 minutes several times on all new connections.  Despite all this I only get the low battery icon with red explanation mark.  If no new Ideas I will take it back to costco.   Here is the rub.  The Firmware had an update due, which by remarks below may not work so well, but the last sync was at 2:55PM PST (according to my phone app) and I did not get to up the firmware.  I dont' think it would have initiated on its own and Fitbit die half way through, right?  Causing the battery charging function to fail?  I don't think so.  I cant reset it as no power,  I have cleaned the charging ports with 70% alcohol (twice), dried them off (which takes seconds), and tried again no luck.  Return to Costco for new one?

Yikes how awful that you just bought your Versa 2 and can’t seem to charge it. I personally (since you just purchased it) would return it to Costco and get another one. But, if you want to try to troubleshoot the one you have I’d look here to see possible reasons why your Fitbit Versa 2 might be experiencing issues: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1190.htm?Highlight=battery

You can also contact Fitbit Customer Service directly  and speak to them and they might be able to assist you. You can call them at 877-623-4997
