Versa 2 won't install any apps/clocks

I got my Versa 2 about a week ago. I set it up, paired it with my phone (it was replacing an old tracker); and everything was fine. I was looking through all the clocks, and I wanted to try the Fitbit Lab "My Cat Luna". Bad idea. Now it's stuck trying to install. I have deleted/reinstalled the app on my phone three times, I have done a factory reset on the Versa 2 twice. After the first factory reset it hung up on the Luna face, and won't install any other apps that I had the first time. 

 

I have also tried using the Windows 10 app, and I'm not able to get it to either install anything, or cancel the Luna clock.

 

I have a BLU Vivo XI+, and both it and the Versa 2 have up to date software/firmware. (At least as recent as Verizon will push to my phone). I have also tried on four different wifi networks. I tried downgrading the FitBit phone app, but it won't let me, even though I know I had earlier versions of that app, I've had my other FitBit tracker for three years.

 

Anyone have any other suggestions?

Thank you for trying to resolve the issue with your Fitbit Versa 2 before contacting us.

 

I would recommend following the next steps:

 

- Log out from the Fitbit app on your phone

- Reboot your phone

- Log back in and set up your Watch as a replacement device:

 

  1. Tap the Today tab EdsonFitbit_0-1631668362412.png, and tap your profile picture.
  2. Tap Set Up a Device.
  3. Choose your device and follow the on-screen instructions to continue.

 

Then, please try to install your apps once again by following these instructions. Please be aware that you can install on your watch up to 39 apps at a time.
